We are Swing-N-Slide. We design and build wooden play sets, plastic slides, swing seats and the steel that joins them, for backyards in the United States. The company grew up in a Wisconsin lumber town and never really left the habits that came with that — we think in board feet, bracket angles and weekend hours.
What we actually make
Complete play sets that arrive as pre-cut, pre-drilled lumber with the hardware and the plans in the crate. Slides moulded in UV-stable polyethylene for four and five foot decks. Swing seats, gliders and nest swings with plastisol-coated chains. Climbing holds, cargo nets, monkey bars and see saws. Brackets, hangers and ground anchors. And hardware kits for people who would rather buy their own lumber.
We do not make anything you would find indoors, and we do not put our name on other makers' goods.
Why we publish numbers
Weight limits in pounds, assembled footprints, deck heights, chain lengths. Every one of those lives on the product page rather than in a manual you get after the purchase, because they are the numbers that decide whether a set fits a family and a yard. If a specification is missing from a page, it is missing because we could not confirm it, and we would rather say nothing than guess.
Tested safe
Our sets and attachments are built and tested against the ASTM standard for backyard residential play. That covers strength, but mostly it covers geometry: clearances, gaps, slide exit angles and the protrusions that catch clothing. It is also why our parts are sold for specific deck heights rather than as universal fittings.
